How To Make More Money

Today we are talking money!  I was recently working with a couple of clients on money issues.  One in particular, was telling me how she needed to make a very specific amount in order to cover the sum of all her expenses.  She makes that amount consistently - exactly what she needs.  Interestingly, I recalled a conversation we had about a year ago when she was telling me how much she needed to make weekly in order to cover her bills, and save for an upcoming vacation.  Guess what - thats how much she made.

This is such a fascinating idea.  How does she have so much power to make exactly what is required in each instance?  I would offer the idea that she put her brain to work and created her reality.  I suggested she start picking and even bigger number and see what happens to her bank account.

Many people are familiar with The Law of Attraction, and The Secret, by Rhonda Byrne.  When I suggest you pick an even bigger number it is not with the idea you visualize, close your eyes, and wish for more money.  I want you to pick that number and let your brain freak out about how you could never do that.  Give it the time to tantrum and tell you how terrible the idea is.  And then, take a moment and ask yourself… but if I did know how to make that amount, what would I do?  Now let your brain think of all the things you may have to do differently.  Think of how you may put yourself out there more often and try things you would normally hide from.  I bet if you get your brain thinking about ways to make 100k you get closer to that number, versus if you thought about ways to make 25k.  Try it - what do you have to lose - some extra savings?

May I have all my people pleasers step forward - this is for you.  I think so  many of us care what others think - and often  to the point that you do and act in ways you really don’t want to - but you think if you do they will like you. Better In the Trash Than on Your Ass

Welcome back to Mindful Weighs Wednesday where we discuss weight loss topics and tools to create the best you. I was recently listening to another weight loss coach who mentioned the food was better in the trash than on your ass.  Of course I chuckled, but it is so true.  Growing up we were always told to finish what was on the plate, but in our large portion society we have to sometimes waste food in order to stay at our ideal weight.   We hate to waste right?
