Ask Good Questions on Purpose

Welcome back to Thinking about Drinking Thursday, where we discuss tools to help you drink less.  If you are a highly functioning gal who has decided to just cut back on your drinking - this is for you.  If you have been saying you want to drink less, but haven't been successful I want to help by sharing some tools with you.

This is going to be short and sweet in order for you to really focus on the task at hand today.

Have you ever considered the importance of a question?  A question is defined as a sentence worded or expressed so as to elicit information.

Your brain is like a GPS and wants to seek answers for the questions you ask it.  Decide on purpose the best way to illicit the best answer.  The way to do that is to ask really good questions.

Stop asking why you can’t stop drinking.
Stop asking why its not fun to not drink with friends.
Stop asking why you feel so terrible the next morning.
All of these questions will perpetuate the negative answers that keep you stuck.

Start asking how you can find ways to not drink as much.
Start asking what other things you can do with friends to have fun.
Start asking how you can feel amazing  waking up every morning.
These questions will start your brain building a new neural pathway to move in the direction of what you are looking to accomplish.

Ask better questions friends - on purpose.  Your brain will find better answers, I promise.
