I Was Amazed To Find Less Wine = More Sleep

Welcome back to Thinking about Drinking Thursday, where we discuss tools to help you drink less.  This program is not for alcoholics.  If you are a highly functioning gal who has decided to just cut back on your drinking - this is for you.

Do you just have some days when you get home from work and it seems like you can’t pour that glass of Pinot G fast enough? I’ve totally been there. It can be a crazy stressful hectic day,and the wine seems to just help is relax and hopefully get to sleep at night.

But really, sleeping well was rarely the case. I actually was sleeping quite poorly. I’m sure aging and hormones didn’t entirely help, but interrupted sleep was clock work.

If you are having trouble with consistent sleep I want to share a few insights.

What I have found now since drinking less is 2 fold on the sleeping front. First, it does in fact take me a little longer to fall asleep because I seem to be more awake and at times a little anxious still. But once I fall asleep I get such a better nights sleep because I tend to stay asleep. Second - I wake up so much more refreshed because I’ve slept well AND, maybe more importantly, I don’t have the negative chatter of the thinking I should not have had that final glass. It’s freakin amazing friends.

Here in lies the magic - you truly can handle any emotion. When you choose to sit with the bit of anxiety you will see on the other side so much more of what you want to create in your life.

Doing this work truly makes a difference. I would love to chat with you to see how I can help. Sign up here  for a free session, no obligation
